Hope wonders what it said, but Lizzie hands her the letter because there's something in it for her as well. She, however, believes that he'll make the right decision; he always does. Josie tries to tell Lizzie that she cannot practice magic having put away her power previously but Lizzie is too caught up in the moment to listen. The closest between them wins. Lizzie and Aurora have hit a snag in their plan, namely a flat tire. With tension coming to ahead, Hope opts to have it out. Casting the incendia spell, she destroys the stake. Lizzie grabs her arm from behind and siphons from her, catching her off guard. With news that Malivore has taken control of his vessel, Landon, she joins Hope and the others in the gymnasium to confront Malivore. Josie proposes that one of them remain behind, just in case something happens. Josie approaches her, asking if he's dead. They almost lost the school because students fought monsters, but that's only the partial reason she sided with MG. While she cares deeply for her sister and father and would do anything for them, she is incapable of seeing things from their perspective. Landon assists Alaric, Dorian, and Emma, while she and Hope look for Josie. Lizzie asks Seline for a bedtime story, which Josie answers nothing sad. Before Hope can answer, however, the Keeper arrives, welcoming the two to "the game". Murmurs rattle throughout the students and Hope stands in protest, however, it does nothing to sway Alaric.
